We will be traveling to England for the chag and staying for a week later.
What are interesting things we can do, tour,or go?
We have boys and girls all ages.
Also any tips for an easier flight and pleasant stay?
I'm getting so nervous about this trip, please help

Tower of London
Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace
British Museum
British Library (has a really old haggadah among other interesting stuff)
Take a hop on hop off tour
London Eye
Ride the Tube and mind the gap
Go somewhere other than London for a day or two such as Dover, Canterbury, Greenwich, or Windsor.

I haven't been to England in years, but there used to be a company that offered great walking tours of various places for just a few pounds.

Buy a tour book or get one for free from AAA or the library. Google London or England tourism and you'll find plenty of websites to give you ideas.

Are you staying in a hotel? They should have brochures available and have suggestions as to where you should go.

were looking to do something besides for big Ben and london bridge. I thought you moms would have some interesting ideas

I just realized it was during the night in england when I posted,

It's called Hamley's toy store. Biggest toy store. Kids will love it. Madame tussauds. London eye, changing of the guards, harrods dept store, westfield mall, (if they like shopping) trocedero, London dugeons

science museum is great (and free)
bethnal green museum of childhood
Other museums such as the british museum (egyptian mummies and suchlike) natural history museum, art galleries - depending on your interests. Most london museums are free,
kew gardens is really nice
legoland windsor if you like that sort of thing. Other theme parks too.

restaurants - I really liked metsuyan. (asian, meat). Isolabella is a nice milk one. Don't miss carmellis cream cakes.

Look on tripadvisor for more ideas. Outside London you can go to Oxford or Cambridge - walk around and go punting on the river. (not sure if you can punt in cambridge but definitely in oxford). Lots of great museums there too.

Trocadero isn't worth a visit.

Hampstead Heath is nice for walks if the weather holds and is near Golders Green where a lot of Kosher restaurants are.
here's a Jewish walking tour of London's East End.
Harry Potter tour in Watford if your kids are into that.
Kidzania is brand new but supposed to be worth a visit.

We would like to give the kids an all around experience. This trip will be "major " so we want to do things that are exclusive to England and vacation type.
My kids are different ages so we are looking for ll types

If you want street culture, you can go to Convent Gardens (and there is a London Transport Museum there), Southbank and walk along the water towards the London Eye, Camden Town and walk along the locks, check out the market. Victoria and Albert Museum has a kids backpack of activities. Will you have access to a car? Into old fashioned things? There's a corn mill where they make corn flour or a water mill where they make paper. Nature? Bentley Priory is beautiful and has a deer enclosure, Golders Green park has a little animal selection, London Zoo, Woburn Safari and Whipsnade are great but not cheap. Discovery Centre in Bracknell is like a mini science museum which my kids loved, and they also have a great outdoor play area if the weather is good.
Golders Green and Hendon are your best bet for kosher food, although Edgware has some, Borehamwood and Bushey. In Golders Green we love Pizaza - great pizza, chips, salads, milkshakes - very reasonably priced and kid friendly. Novellino is good for a nice milky meal. You can get all kinds of things to take away at Kosher Kingdom to take for lunch if you are out.
Oh, and bring a rain jacket with a hood to be prepared for horrible weather (although it's beautiful and sunny right now)

I haven't been to the Victoria and Albert Museum yet - that was on my list for this summer but we didn't get to it, but have used a carriage in all the other places.

If it's decent weather and you want a typical english seaside place, Bournemouth has a new kosher hotel with takeaway and restaurant called the Water Garden, and you can walk through the trails at Boscombe Gardens, go to the beach, walk along the cliffs or the pier, go clamming if that's your thing, check out Poole Pottery where you can see them make pottery, etc. Or go to Brighton for the day, that's a rocky beach and has arcades on the Pier. Or Southend is also a rocky beach and has Adventure Island - like an amusement park but much more compact, and a new children's area as well, and also sealife is right near there.
Oh, there's also the London Aquarium which is quite cool.
