Has anyone ever frozen kneidlach? Do they freeze well or are they gross once they're defrosted?

Remove them from the soup, place them on wax paper on a baking sheet to freeze, then transfer to a bag.
Or just toss them in a bag and hope they defrost well.

I cook them cool them and freeze them in bags. 8 in a bag (cuz that's how many I need per seudah). I take it out on Friday. Sometimes I have time to defrost them sometimes not. When I don't I put it straight into the soup on the blech. It's yummy

Pat dry. Lay on baking sheet. Freeze. Once frozen, transfer to a Ziploc bag.

You can even freeze the "dough" before cooking them if that's easier for you

My family won't easy frozen matzo balls or kneidlach. They know the difference even when I don't tell them even when it is only frozen for a short time. I tried different ways to freeze. There is a difference in taste. Crying
