The first test came back positive, they called me back for a urine test tomorrow, does my child have to be sick? Im so worried if someone can give me some information I would really appreciate it

Are you pregnant? What's the story? Which cmv was positive, igg or igm?

I got cmv for first time while pregant they tested my baby at birth and the test came back positive

I'm sure the doctor has explained already. Some babies are fine, some have hearing difficulties etc. or sometimes worse. From what I've heard, it isn't always apparent at birth... some times it takes a year or so to know anything is wrong. What's the baby's name for davening?

If you had CMV while pregnant, the baby may test positive for CMV IgG regardless, which does not mean that s/he has the virus. It just means s/he has the antibodies because you had the virus while pregnant.

Cmv igm came back positive, says pcr was low, I have no idea what to expect ,or what the results mean, I would never forgive myself if something would be wrong ch"v

There's nothing you could have done to prevent it, unless you knew you had it and then still got pregnant!
