I am looking for functional fitted toddler boots- size 7.5/ 24 for my dd. Either booties or boots, but that are more shoe-like and not like fake-ugg style. She needs a little more support in her shoe but we will be walking outside in the cold/(mostly shoveled) snow and I would like to find something that is warm and at least mostly waterproof and that she can then wear the rest of the day in school.
I would prefer not to spend more than $35-40 and they should be good enough quality to last the season.
Any ideas? Online would be great but suggestions of stores where you have bought boots like this would be helpful too.
(I am not located in Brooklyn but am in the tri-state area).

Thanks!

Lands End may have some good options for you in that price range.

At that age/size, I got my girls the Lands End Snow Flurry ones and didn't care much about having them look like anything but snow boots. It's hard enough to find adult sized warm waterproof boots that don't look like snow boots. But maybe you'd like one of these better:

I don't know what else Lands End offers but I'm not too fond of the Land's End snow flurry boots because they are very stiff and they don't seem comfortable to me - DD never complained though. Definitely warm and waterproof but not sure how great for wearing all day in school - I'd say if it's warm for outdoors then you probably don't want to be wearing it indoors. But if you want a pair on the cheap I can see if I have one in that size, I have a few forgot what size and that's smaller than my kids so I was looking to pass them on.
