I have the city mini gt for my car and the donkey as my home stroller. That combination has worked very well for me, although I sometimes feel like I wasted money purchasing the donkey. I wanted a better quality stroller as my car stroller since we sometimes go on all day trips, and I wanted my kids to be comfortable. There is a 19 month age gap between my two, but my 3+ year old still fits in very comfortably in both of the strollers.
