Each week I like having a round cake on the counter for Shabbos, but, I am sick of what I've been making. I either usually have a crumb cake, or marble. I need new ideas and recipes. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

Wow, where do I begin?
Brownies - try a decadent one with melted chocolate chips like the KBD oreo one
(ETA to include a link) http://www.imamother.com/forum.....13894
Cookies
Apple cake (though my go to is in a bundt pan)

And, another bundt cake that I just made last week. Really wonderful!

Ok, to be continued...

I bake a cake each Shabbos too. Why do you like having a round cake specifically?

Thanks for all who responded. In regards to why I want around cake, I have a beautiful cake platter with a dome and round cakes fit perfectly. And knowing my family, if I had a cake covered with foil or a bag itt wouldn't get covered properly and would dry out

Another idea to put in ur round dish is cupcakes. Sometimes when I'm fed up of baking my regular round cake (for the same reason you bake round) I bake cupcakes and put them on the tray.

Banana cake. The recipe I use is so easy and so good and has gotten lots of compliments. Let me know if you want the recipe.
