I've seen people covering their silver pieces for long term in plastic wrapping that is shrink wrapped like look. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Not in Saran wrap but in a shrinkable plastic that is almost unnoticeable. I am not sure its regular shrink wrap as I assume the heat of shrink wrapping effects the beauty of the silver. Has anyone a clue how silver can be stored this way?

I used saran wrap. If there are no holes and it is well wrapped it stays beautiful.

The concept is to keep the air from reaching the silver so it does not tarnish.

I do it with saran wrap. Helps silver not get tarnished.
