Standard peanut chew recipe. Delicous and addictive.
Do you need the recipe?
The "kuntz" is knowing how to make it pretty, but I'm happy with pretty balls drizzled with chocolate and placed in mini paper cupcake holders.

I think if you put the Rice Krispies in a food processor, you can get the same consistency.

Peanut Chews
1 cup sugar
1 (16 oz) light corn syrup
1 (15 oz) peanut butter (creamy or crunchy, your choice)
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

Heat sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter together until well combined. Mix in Rice Krispies.
Spread onto cookie sheet in an even layer, using a spatula to pat down. Or roll into balls.
Drizzle lightly with good quality melted chocolate. (Don't use a full layer of chocolate unless you are using a bar of snacking chocolate and not baking chocolate.) Cut.

ra_mom, that's a lot more corn syrup and peanut butter than I use.

My recipe is
1 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Rice Krispies

same instructions. If I want them goopier, I'll use slightly less cereal, like maybe 5 1/2 cups.

SNIP

I know. It's so much softer, creamier, more like store bought. Easier to cut into neat shapes.

A good trick I learned is to put the mixture into a baking pan, then use a rolling pin to flatten out the pb treats to get the neat and consistently even look
