I was also recently in search of good new sitcoms, especially those are still airing or have full seasons on the CBS app or on Hulu. I tried a whole bunch of pilots to see what would stick and what wouldn't, and I am sticking with Brooklyn99, The Goldbergs, Mom, Superstore, Grandfathered, and Last Man on Earth.
Caroline in the City is available on youtube and it is quite funny. It's FRIENDS level of 'clean', probably a little 'cleaner'.
