After supper, I find myself 'waiting' for my kids to go to sleep and I feel bad about it. I could easily get on the internet and my kids could play with eachother (which often happens), but after many hours of doing that, I feel that it would be nice if that time before bed is spent differently.

Does anyone have some good ideas as to what I can do with them to make it an enjoyable time and also feel less impatient about that hour?

Thanks!!

Snuggle up together and read, read, read.

Play board games.

Write stories, either individually or all together.

Color.

Are you feeding them supper too early? When do they bathe?

Maybe it's time to shake up your bedtime routine a little bit. I find it easier to get the children to bed if there is a natural progression from dinner to brushing teeth to bath time to pajamas to storytime and then shema and bed.

Reading to your children or having them read to you is always going to be time well spent.
