Hi! Looking for information on the Cheder. Please share!

How big are the classes?
What is the education like? Hebrew? English?
Do they incorporate technology?
What grade do they have a Rebbi?
If you have personal experience, please share! What was/is your feel of the school atmosphere? Is it warm? etc
TIA

Classes are 25 boys per class, 2 classes per grade.
The Hebrew education is phenomenal. The English is typical for a right-wing yeshivish school. My son is still in one of the younger grades and wouldn't be up to technology, but I doubt that they do.
Rebbe starts in pre-1A.
It's really, really hard to get into the Cheder. You generally need a lot of pull / protektzia to get in. But the Rebbeim are really excellent, and the families that send there are really solid and generally quite happy with it. In a sense, it's somewhat self-selecting in terms of who is looking for this type of school.

Are they on a high enough level to take regents in high school?

Yes, they take regents in high school, as a matter of fact, they give the first math regent in 8th grade.

All of the Brooklyn boys' high schools catering to the greater Flatbush population take regents. A better question would be "how well does the school prepare them for the regents" or "how many boys need tutors to prepare for the math regents."
