I would love to take my son out Monday to someplace to give him some mommy and me time. Any Suggestions? was thinking of sony wonder or liberty science center but they are both closed Mondays

Ice skating or snow tubing should be great at that age. If you want something warm and indoors, try bowling.

I don't drive so would need to be somewhere train or bus accessible.

Ice skating is reachable by train - Prospect Park or Bryant Park or Central Park. I would imagine there are bowling alleys also near mass transit if you think that's something he'd enjoy. You could also do Kids in Action, right on the F train.
