Do they say Morah, Mrs., Miss, Ms., or whatever language? Do they call them by their first or last names?

Morah first name or Morah last name. Mostly Morah first name. In the US, because I feel like that may make a major difference in the answers

Morah First Name. I live in Israel, but when we lived in the U.S. and I had kids in preschool it was the same thing. Boys and Girls. (except when the teacher is a male, like in the year before first grade here in Israel -- I don't know if you still consider that preschool -- then it was Rebbe First Name. Starting in first grade it is Rabbi Last Name)

Also Morah First Name, also in the US.

For extra-curricular activities (non-sectarian), Miss/Mr. First Name.

They refer to the teachers as Morah Last Name unless they are single girls-Morah First name. There are a few married teachers who have been Morah First Name for forever. But when they speak to the teachers it is usually just plain Morah.

By us, almost everyone is first name, even the principal. I don't even know their last names. The rebbeim, not preschool Wink , are also first name with rebbe before it. It's a cultural thing. I was asking because one of my nieces calls her teachers, morah last name. This is the U.S., not NY. I never heard that before for preschool, so I was wondering if others also do it.

In DD's school it's Morah First Name for preschool, including the principal. I think that became the convention because last names can be much harder for children to pronounce. Much of the time the kids just say Morah Morah Morah until someone answers them. DD got so used to doing that during the day that she would sometimes make the mistake of calling me Morah instead of Mommy in the evenings.

In preschool they always addressed their teachers as Morah first name. Once they entered school it depended on the teacher. Some are Morah first name, some Morah last name, and some Ms./Mrs. last name.

Mora first name.
In primary, madame/monsieur last name or maitre/maitresse.
First name, as a teacher, I'd be livid from the entitled feeling to do that!

Funny tangent: I addressed a professor in third person in an email. He replied "I am the professor".

I was like uh, I know... was trying to be super respectful lol.

LOL

Culture clash.

I learned quickly...
