I'm looking for potato knish recipe.. I have a recipe for dough. I just don't know how to make the filling or even mashed potatoes!!

Really yummy simple mashed potatoes
Peel, chunk, and boil potatoes until pierces easily with fork
Fry up onion
Mash potatoes with the fried onion and leftover oil, add salt to taste
If it's dry (kinda flakes and crumbles) add more oil
Can u post ur dough recipe please?

Wow thanks!! I thought u were my sister she just gave me exact same recipe.. lol
I use this dough for deli roll also very simple!!
2 c flour
1/2 c oil
1/2 c water
1/2 tsp salt

My experience was that yukon gold potatoes are the best for knishes. I also add a little margarine. Like 2 tsp. Gives delicious flavor
