So my new system divides the entire human race into two types:

PSL and PSH.

The test comprises one question.

If you answered yes to the question, you are type PSL. If you answered No, you are type PSH.

It's quite fascinating, really.

It's a joke.

Some posters like to take to personality typing threads all in a huff that people are more complex than 9 types or 16 types or whatever the system of the day is. And anyway the test is never accurate so what's the point. (PSHers, correct me if I'm wrong and add whatever I missed Wink

)

So I invented one that even those who hate the idea can enjoy. The two types are

Personality System Haters
Personality System Lovers

And the test consists of one question that is 100% accurate.

Now do tell us what type you are. Smile

And THAT's why, though I find them fascinating, I am against them b'shittah. I've heard this expressed IRL far too many times. People use personality types as a way of shifting responsibility away from themselves to work on their middos or on their relationships. (A long time ago we had a poster who wasn't happy in her marriage, contemplating divorce because she and her DH were different numbers on the enneagram.)
