Anyone have a Quick & Easy, impressive looking and tasty dessert recipe?!
*im talking like, even from a box mix and then some how 'dressing it up' to look real good Wink

I havent made Shabbos dessert in such a long time & I think it would be nice to start back up again! It's just the time and energy..

cookies and cream ice cream

10 chocolate sandwich cookies
1 16 oz whip - fully defrosted
1 choc pie crust

Crush cookies. Pour into crust. Pour whip into crust. Freeze

I make a super easy oreo ice cream pie. Use a chocolate Graham cracker crust, 1 large richs whip (pareve), and pareve chocolate sandwich cookies. Crush the cookies into large pieces and mix with defrosted whip. Pour into crust and freeze. Very popular with guests!

Partially thaw 3 colors of sorbet.
Layer them in individual large zig zag edged muffin cups, freezing between layers.
Invert upside down on individual plates over a dessert sauce. Top with fresh strawberry if desired.
You can also do a peanut butter ice cream pie which is really good.

Box of cake mix, can of your choice of soda. Bake according to package directions. Canned frosting, make snowmen with marshmallows and candy.

15 kinds of fruit/nuts, in honor of Tu Bshevat. Wash, serve separately, or in a fruit salad.

Meringues -- whip egg whites, add sugar and vanilla or other flavoring, plop with a spoon onto sheet with bakng paper, let dry in a low oven.

Make-your-own candy sushi, with fruit rolls, sour stix, etc.

in a bowl mix one container of tofutti vanilla ice cream, half cup peanut butter, half cup rice crispies and ten chocolate sandwich cookies crushed up. pour mixture into pie crust. drizzle pie.with.either cookie crumbs chocolate syrup. freeze. enjoy. ive got such compliments on this pie. I just smile and say thank u. little do they know....

I make vanilla and chocolate instant pudding with soy milk. I serve it layered in a nice cup and get lots of compliments.
