Is it really 60 inches of snow in NYC properties? We're still on the smiling list from our old synagogue and looks like they are still having daily miniyan and tu bShvat event. .. stay warm and safe.

We've gotten 20 inches here in Jersey so far... and it's still snowing!

Luckily we are safe indoors with plenty of hot chocolate to go around!

I noticed from my window that from some angles you can't even tell there's a car underneath.

My friend just posted this:

BLIZZARD - NYC Mayor de Blasio says those caught driving in NYC will be arrested and arrests will be posted on social media

She also said that any cars that are out now will be towed and impounded until Monday. As someone else said, bridges and tunnels are closed until 7AM

And my husband told me that basement residents in Lakewood (and I guess anywhere that people live in basements) are snowed in.

How's the snow? It's DEEP!

BWI (Baltimore-Washington International Airport has just set a new all-time snowstorm record of 29.2 inches. About the same as here in the Pikesville area of Baltimore. And it's still coming down.

There is a LOT of snow.

It's winter vacation for many local schools this week and I'm not sure how people are going to fly out tomorrow. Luckily we weren't planning on going anywhere. My oldest was already out tonight "helping" her father shovel and she's looking forward to playing in the snow the rest of the week. And, of course, coming inside for hot chocolate with marshmallows afterwards.
