Why do brooklyn apartments give too much or too little heat ?!

It's either freezing or boiling enough to keep a window ajar in every apartment I visit. The heat dries out my nostrils. Not to mention the extreme polar changes can make one sick.

LOL. Since like last winter, I don't know what's gotten into me but I CANNOT take the cold. Toooo cold for me. But who needs the beach when you can just go sledding in your front yard now??

Ahhh, that brings back memories of my old Upper West Side apartment.

Put a kettle of water on your radiator. It will help humidify the air.

In the summer you probably have to get the super to come up and turn off the radiator valves. They get stuck over the winter, and if you don't tell the super, he won't know that it's a problem.

Here in Israel, every time I want hot water, I have to flip a switch and wait an hour. Then DH walks by and sees that it's on, and turns it off. (He does that with light switches too, and it drives me crazy!) Mad

just visiting - I tried the water thing cause that's what I do in cleveland - it's just that I sweat terribly and cannot breath - hence the polar bear in me wants to swim

as for the dude shemesh thingy - yeah my dd#3 mentioned the insanity of not having a good shower

maybe you need to put a note next to switch "waiting for shower - do NOT turn off" - lights I understand
