Soon after my child was diagnosed with celiac disease, I was googling kosher gluten free recipes and Imamother came up. At that point my whole family was obsessed with gluten/gluten free, so that's how I chose my user name.

I was severely depressed and was looking for support. I Googled "frum support group" or something like that and imamother showed up. BH depression is a thing of the past..

was looking to connect to "Frum Jewish women" many years ago, and imamother popped up!
I remember taking the questionairre and wondering "Will they accept me?!!"
Here I am 2000+ posts later!
Imamother is so much fun and has been a great help to me!

Shana rishon a I was trying to figure out how to wash tzitzis or a Tallis, imamother only knew for boys cotton ones , not DH's wool ones.took me six years to actually look at anything else here.
That original post I saw is actually useful now! Ds is almost 4.
This site has some nice come up in many google searches.

I don't remember how I found imamother but I enjoy being in a fairly safe, moderated place with women with different backgrounds and hashkafos. (Why don't I ever see polls that define us by yes, uses whip, no, doesn't use whip? I suppose it would have to be in safe haven. But I know that even though I use whip, I would never be marginalized here.)
