my DD will be going in for major surgery soon.
Could anyone give me advice on what questions I should be asking the surgeon.
It is a very rare surgery that is not preformed that often.

Get clear instructions before hand about what you will need for after care .
For example, if you are going to need to take off 2 weeks of work, find a nurse to care for her, etc. so you can plan in advance.
Ask them everything you are thinking about, what are the chances of success, how long will she be hospitalized, what warning signs to look for I.e. to make sure there is no infection afterwards,find out if she will need Physio, etc..
