I went...but so long ago...in 1976-1980. Brookdale hall and don't really have any faves for teachers.

2000-2003, brookdale ( 1 yr) and shottenstein (2 yrs). Liked Rav Goldvicht, Dr Fried, Mrs Behar (no longer there).

2000-2001 (I came to stern after 2 years in Israel. Then got married and moved back to Israel)
Brookdale.
I liked Rabbi M. Cohen and also Dr. Levy (A"H) for Music.
My FAVORITE was Prof. Schram for Speech!

No, another dorm- Schottenstein, was built in the late '90s, with private rooms and shared bathrooms. After that came a smaller dorm on 36th and lex, which is also private rooms, and I think there may have been 1 or 2 more after that. Most people live in brookdale their first year and then move on to the newer ones.

I can't believe you like Professor Schram, did you get an A in her class? I know so many girls who waited until the last semester of their senior year so they could get into the other speech teachers class. Wasn't his name McGovern?

lol to the thing about Schram. I complained enough about having to take her class that I think she thought I was concerned about my grade and she gave me an A-.
M Cohen taught bible classes. Z Cohen did Ivrit, and A Cohen did Jud classes.

I know Dr. Levy died (hense the A"H). He was a fantastic teacher.

shira, I am pretty sure we went to the same HS at almost the same time, as well as Stern.
I cant believe you almost took Schram again. I did everything I could to get out of the one class and they wouldn't let. Hmph. Was quite an experience. Do I have stories to tell!!!!
