opening the "don't open" thread is not a sign of weakness against curiosity. Or a practice in reverse psychology because who are you defying? The question is, can you resist getting sucked into an inane conversation? I mean, seriously?!

To qualify as a test of any kind you must start with the assumption that resisting inane conversation was a goal in the first place.

Which, given the population (readers of online chat boards) is already heavily biased in favor of people who enjoy inane conversations, or they wouldn't be logged on to this board........Sorry, if this is an experiment for She-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, it is seriously flawed.
