On his website theres an option to RSVP for volunteering in Kensington, tonight, at a private home, most likely owned by frum people (on block of Torsa V'daas). I was interested in doing that, and Im wondering if anyone knows who is involved with this.

This is the reality of politics today. Trump unapologetically funded Hillary's earlier run.
So there may be people who are helping Bernie just in case, even if they won't vote for him. Who knows.
You planning to picket or something?

I know frum people who like Bernie. They admire his integrity and his ideas resonate with them. There are plenty of frum people that are struggling and feel like the system has failed them and needs to be radically reformed.

In response to above questions, I was thinking of going, but I didnt want to go to a private home of people who arent frum, and was curious if anyone knew anything about who's involved.

I know lots of frum people who support him. Some of them live in Brooklyn. I don't know this house though.

That's interesting. Why such antipathy just to Rubio? And not say, Bush or other more establishment types?
And I shouldn't have implied that frum people only support him for ulterior motives. I know that one can still be a frum Democrat and if I was, I don't think I could stomach Hillary myself.

I'm a fan of Sanders' honesty and determination and idealism, but can someone clarify how him raising taxes will help the average WORKING Joe.

I'm confused how he expects to pass a lot of socialist legislation.
Also from what I've seen of his history, he does not seem to support Israel.

Just btw, theres no reason to assume that house is owned by frum people or even Jewish people, just because its on torah vdaas block. Kensington is a very mixed neighborhood.

I can't post a link to his proposals and analysis by economists at the moment, but his idea is that the average working Joe will end up with major tax breaks while the top earners will have an increase.
Taxes on middle class and lower class individuals and families won't go up. His whole plan is focused on reliving pressure and helping the middle and lower classes.

I did a reverse search and the owner's name, was definitely Jewish, not sure if frum though.

The average working Joe supporter of Sanders may be voting for more goodies. To paraphrase Margaret Thatcher: Socialism works great until you run out of other people's money.

I think that a majority of the 1/: Bernie wants to punish are smart, or smart enough to surround themselves with smart people. They will continue to find ways to hold onto their money.
In situations like this the winner is almost always the middle class. The lower class will get all the help and freebies. The upper class will find ways to avoid funding those programs. So the burden will fall on the middle class who don't qualify for bernies programs, but don't have trust funds and investments to cushion the blow of increased taxes and...

I think you meant that the losers would be the middle class.
I agree and Id like to know how Bernie would answer that.
