After dancing my way through multiple zumba classes, I finally hit upon a really nice Jewish music zumba class. The teacher told us that she has had a hard time finding good Jewish songs that we can do zumba-style moves to. She is particular that the words cannot be from tanach, tehillim, etc. They can be English I.e. Maccabeats. Most of the songs she has found just don't have the same energy and speed as the Latin zumba ones and therefore are not as conducive to a high energy workout. I am trying to help her find some other options.
Ideas for songs?

How about using music from secular artists that has no words?
What about Yehuda Glanz?

I think she davka doesn't want secular music-even without words.
I spoke to her again and I realized I made a mistake-she is okay with words from davening-what she is not okay with is words from tehillim.
I don't think she is technologically good enough to quicken the songs.
thanks for yehuda glanz idea.
any other specific songs you can think of?
we already do yesh tikvah, todah lecha (benny friedman), Lakol zman.

Yehuda Galantz is a great idea.
Also gad elbaz, eyal golan, sarit hadad, (most israeli music with a fast tempo is great for zumba)
Oif simchas,
Theres also the Mix cds.

A.K.A. Pella -they take Jewish songs, sing them and mix them up with non Jewish pop songs (example -they took Shea Rubinstien's Tick Tock and mixed up with Kesha's Tik Tok. They'll have a Michoel Pruzansky mixed up with Lady Gaga.) So don't know if that works for you or not. Honestly, a great many frum songs sung by frum singers are really secular ripoffs, so never understood people going to great lengths to avoid listening to nonJewish music when they are already doing it.
Eli Gerstner music can be pretty rocky - try that too.
