I used to listen to WEVD & heard a lot of Yiddish songs, most of which I did not understand though my Yiddish has improved with time.

what's this one:

hop mein homentashen, hop mein veisah,
hop mein homentashen, hut passirt a meisah

Yachna Dvosha shikt shoin Shalach Monos
tzu ir mumeh Yenta..

I think I'd enjoy doing a poetic translation but I stuck to precision at the expense of the rhymes

Mechuteiniste mine (do I need to translate?)
Let's always stay mechutunim
I am giving you my daughter to be your DIL
By you she shouldn't lose face

Mechuteiniste mine
Don't wake my child early
And if you see an עוולה by her
Cover up for it as if you were her mother

Mechuteiniste mine
To bear children we spill our blood
And if you see your son likes the DIL
Don't let it bother you at all

Mechuteiniste mine
I am traveling to you with a (buggy?)
If you'll be a shlock and a mad shvigger
My daughter is also an (antique?)

You're sure the last word isn't ארטיקל?

It would make more sense to me.

I thought it means antique as in old?

ארטיקל could mean something valuable without the connotation of old. It could even have an ironic connotation, like a יענע ארטיקל...

Do you think פאריקל means buggy?

short translation

Yachne Dvoshe likes to bake
Stuff that's good for noshin'
Her favorite thing she likes to make
Is Purim Hamantaschen!

refrain:
Oh, my little hamantaschen,
Oh my little white ones!
Oh, with little my hamanataschen,
Comes a little story!

Yachne goes out to the store
To buy some flour for baking,
The sack has holes, it starts to rain
Oh what a mess it's making!

refrain:

She bought no honey, no poppy seed,
And quite forgot the yeast,
But Yachne's making hamentaschen
They're in the oven at least.

refrain:

Yachne's bringing shalach mones
To her next door neighbor
Half raw, half burned hamantaschen
Without any flavor!

refrain:

Yachne-Dvoshe's going to the city
She's packing up her things now,
She has to buy some flour for purim
To bake some hamentashen
Chorus:
Oh, my little hamentaschen
Oh, my little white ones,
Oh, with my little hamentaschen
I have a little story.

It's raining and it's snowing,
Drops falling from the rooftops,
Yachne's bringing corn meal home
In a bag that's full of holes.

She bought no honey, no poppy seed,
And quite forgot the yeast,
But Yachne's making hamentaschen
They're in the oven at least.

Yachne's carrying her Shalach Manos
To her Mother in Law,
Two or three hamentaschen
Half-burned and half-raw.

I thought it meant antikel as in a piece of work. Meaning, if you will be a shlock ro her, watch out, because she is apiece of work as well.

I use article in that context. I didn't know antikel is used that way.

re: antviklen

Another song popping into my head. Again I am afraid that due to my poor Yiddish skills I heard many words wrong so I'll just put some snatches

(I had it on a record sung by kids. Gives you an idea how old I am, if WEVD didn't give it away!)

Toirah, (dum dum) dos iz di besteh schoirah
something... lights up .... ? der yid in Golus punkt vee a menorah,
Toirah, dos iz di besteh schoirah

di besteh fun alleh antviklen....

....unzer heiligeh Toirah,
fun unzereh Boireh
