I've been changing the title as we move along from one song to the next...so... Toirah is di besteh schoirah.
For some reason I am thinking it might have been on a record from Uncle Yossi (Goldstein?) and included the story of the Poritz who would turn into a cat & steal the souls of babies before the bris, til the Rebbe caught the cat in a bag. "Oh how you beat me" was a famous line from the story...

Is he saying "zee heet a Yid in Golus punkt vee a menorah"?
Somehow my memory (granted from years ago) is something like
"Zee baleicht a Yid in Golus" - could there be such a version? Is it even correct Yiddish?

I don't know either version, but I was  about the torah being a protection like a menorah? Since when does the menorah act as protection?
The second version sounds better.

So baleicht is proper Yiddish?
I don't hear anything about antviklen or artiklen, but I know the version we had included something like that.
Anyone care to transcribe the lyrics on the clip?

באלייכט means to illuminate. It fits the simile of the menorah better.
