on the back of Hershey's cocoa:

1 3/4 cups flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
1/2 tbls baking powder
1/2 tbls baking soda
1 tsp salt

mix dry then add

2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup pareve milk
2 tsp vanilla

mix again

after add 1 cup boiling water
(it will end up looking liquidy but that is what makes it fluffy)

bake at 350 for about 45 min (till center pops back when you touch with finger)

you can double recipe and bake in 9 x 13 or 2 round 9" pans ... ENJOY!!!

I second the hershey recipe, very moist.
as a rule any recipe with boiling water/coffee will come out moist.

I guess you've decided on this one, but the brownie recipe in kosher by design short on time is yum!! really chewy, which is what I love in a brownie recipe, but with a hard crust - not dry, just hard.

yes I have been good and admitted it belongs to hershey ... people think it's mine ... and it is as easy as a duncan heinz box ... there is also a frosting ...

1/2 cup crisco
3 cups confectioners sugar
2/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup pareve milk (no water)

whip and spread
or leave out cocoa and add food coloring for fun good for cupcakes too...

Mommyesty, skip the marge or crisco and buy some milky whippping cream. Add a tablespoon of sugar and some vanilla and beat. Spread it all over the cake. Health value similar to margerine but tastes sooooo much better.
