B"Y surely dropped the ball
when they went to Achashveirosh's feast
Then Haman decreed death on every Jew
from the greatest until the least

It seemed Haman's star was rising
But soon all his luck ran out
Between garbage and leading Mordechai through Shushan town
Every swing was another strike, out!

And then B"Y* hit it out of the park
With true teshuva kimu v'kiblu
To remember the incredible nisim of the day
We send mm to you.

Baseball
The team is really ready, the faces unsure
The score is tied, the tension hard to endure ( ignore)
The batter is up, will he change the scores
The sweat is just dripping straight from his pours
The crowd is anxious as the time is quite short
As it is also Purim and megilla trumps any sport
The mitzvos are waiting but the game it is still tied
The players are worried, almost bleary eyed …
Then the kids they all turn to the XXXX family who comes up to bat
He stomps on the ground, spits, throws off his hat
The dust it is rising, the air hard to see
The crowds are all waiting just what will it be?
Then the kid at the bat takes a swing and all gasp
He throws his bat down once the ball was hit fast
He runs all the way from base to base
The crowds are all screaming while watching the pace (race)
The game it was won, the batter a hero
The other side missed, no tie left at zero
But the batter he knows the applause has to wait
The mitzvos now are much more urgent than reaching home plate
So if when we arrived you thought it was strange
We all look ready for ball, and had no time to change
We managed to bring something special to you our dear friends
