OMG... I just watched Tenured and it was hysterical (but I like that type of humor and I love teacher movies, especially about failing teachers).
I'm going to look at your other recommendations based on that! Thank you.
My recommendations:
Meet the Patels (documentary)
Bride and Prejudice (Bollywood romantic comedy - pretty clean)
Teacher of the Year (mockumentary)

I like cleaner humor and crime without too much violence or gore.
My favorites on Netflix:
Psych
Monk (now gone  )
Leverage
White Collar
Mysteries of Laura (only season 1)
Criminal Minds
Law and Order, SVU, they don't have most seasons anymore
Person of Interest
Drop Dead Diva
Desperate Housewives (gone too  )
I don't like CSI or NCIS, too much gore
Regarding Amaxzon Prime, only watched Downton Abbey, which I like a lot but prefer faster pace

Most of these have some degree of violence and heavier themes, as well as lack of tznius, though I don't recall anything super explicit.
