My kids are all dressing up as clowns. For MM we are giving out clown/circus themed foods including animal crackers, cotton candy flavored gumballs (I know, sound gross but cheaper than actual cotton candy and not as "junky"), laughy taffy, and homemade rainbow hamentaschen. Looking for help from all you creative amothers for a poem to tie everything together. Bonus points if you can tie it into Purim (I.e Haman wasn't clowning around when he wanted to kill the jews, Jews had the last laugh when everything was turned upside down). Thanks in advance.

To say mishenichnas Adar
marbim b'simcha
means our steady state's simcha
and now there's more of.
It's simcha we feel
when we know deep inside
that Hashem does the steering
we're along for the ride.
The story of Purim's
a true paradigm
that this is the case
all of the time.
Haman hated the Jews
he wasn't clowning around
But we had the last laugh
When everything turned upside down.
Ok, hope you can work with that. Or that someone out there thinks, I can do better, and does!
Gut Shabbos!

I guess you could cut the first half if you want....but this is what I did...
Did you ever wonder where a clown comes from
Well here’s the true story I heard from someone
They had their start years ago in a a faraway land
The people there like you and I thought they all were rather grand
When invited by the King they felt to a party they must go
And so they dressed their very best and went with friend and foe
But to that meal was not the best and we all know that now
And later when they regretted it they said so in a vow
So what part does the clown take part you’re waiting just to hear?
So you know the part where Mordechai was on the horse so high
Haman pulled it by himself declaring to the sky
That this man was adored by the king so great
And all should know King was pleased as such the Jew did rate.
But what you may have missed in the megilla you read each year
Is that Haman disguised himself with make-up and colored hair
Hoping no one knew it was him avoiding everyone’s glare
He also wore really big shoes hoping to walk faster than before
He wanted this job over as he hated this whole chore
Once his daughter threw things down on her daddy dear
His clothing also took a turn and a new color did appear
So now you know the secret of where a clown did begin
It’s all routed in the tale of how the Jews did win
And when you get this gift from us we hope you enjoy it all
For the XXX family loves to have everyone to simply have a ball!
So now you know the hidden part of the megilla is true
and a circus has its routes that were hidden from even you
