I made earth cookies for Purim that look like the earth have a great texture but are totally tasteless. is there anything I could put on them or dip them in that would make them taste better with out covering the cookie? For example if I put chocolate on top they will be brown cookies instead of earth cookies.
They look somewhat like these http://www.tammileetips.com/20.....kies/
Please any suggestions are appreciated.

what if you put chocolate [ganache] on the bottom & when they dry you can flip them back over ... then it will look like the world atop of dirt/earth/soil ...

Those cookies are really cute! Can you glaze them in very diluted icing? Basically, confection sugar with enough water to make the glaze clear?
