There was recently a SIL thread about not being included in conversation. Someone mentioned that there's a way to join in when you're being ignored.
Can someone teach me how to do this smoothly without it sounding socially awkward?

- Nod along, tsk tsk, and laugh at the appropriate places in the conversation,
- Make eye contact
- Ask a polite question like, what do you think about X, that is somehow related to the conversation
That being said, I can't see wanting to join a conversation where I am being ignored. I'd rather find someone else to interact with or open a sefer tehillim.
Good luck!
