Any bakery in Flatbush with baked goods as tasty as Shloimy's in Boro Park?
Thank you for recommendations!

OP, I'm afraid, I don't know, but what are your favorite baked goods at Shloimy's?

I haven't any favorites as I stay away from gluten...
I'm asking for someone who's visiting for Shabbos.

I like Kaff on Ave J between E29 - Nostrand which is newly renovated and has large display case for self-service.

Pomegranate's bakery department is sourced from Shoime's if that's what you want.

What do you mean "sourced from Shloime's?" I was under the impression that Pomegranate makes its own stuff, though I don't know where I got that from. Are you telling me that none of the baked goods in Pomegranate are made in-house? Is everything from Shloime's in BP?

I want to go check out this Shloimy's for Shavuos, but I see 2 of them in BP, one at 51st and 12th, and one at 47th and 16th. Which is the one that people are referring to as the best, and from which Pomegranate gets its baked goods?

I don't live in Brooklyn but when I go there I stock up on cake from Ostrivitsy and danishes from Kaffs to take home and freeze.

Pomegranate does not bake in house. It is from shloimys in boro park but I heard that a lot of stuff are baked exclusively for pomegranate.
Sesame on l and coney is also a really good bakery. Then stuff are also not baked in house. I heard they do not get from one specific bakery but they pick the best items from a few diff bakeries

I opened this thread sure I'd see one bakery mentioned over and over-
and it's not here!
OP, you have to try Schreiber's Bakery. They have 2 stores at opposite ends of Avenue M.
If you want that real heimish taste like your Hungarian grandmother just took this out of the oven - this is the place to go.
Their fancy cakes don't look as spectacular as you might find elsewhere but when you cut them open they taste like pure heaven, not like crisco and cardboard and artificial flavoring which is how a lot of those cakes taste.
Ostrovitzky and Kaff's are both great bakeries but IMNSHO nobody beats Schreiber's.

Does Schreiber's have dairy baked goods such as cheesecake and cheese danishes?

Where on Ave. M are they located?

Any other really awesome bakeries?
