I bought a sweater, the label says 100% Linen. No buttons, no lining. All the same throughout. Does it need Shatnez check?
Where can I call to ask?

I once bought a skirt that said 100% linen, brought it to be checked and was told there was wool throughout that couldn't be removed.

My personal feeling is that if it's a primarily wool or linen garment, it's best to get it checked just to be safe. You never know.

Yes.
It should be checked.

I was taught that anything that has any wool or linen listed in the materials, in any amount (even 100%) must be checked.
