How much does it cost to have a house painted in Lakewood? It approx. 2500sf plus basement.
Please specify if the cost includes materials, labor or both.
Do you have to buy paint yourself, or does your contractor do it?
Thanks

about $2 or $2.50 a sf so if total about 3500sf of wall space then the price will be about 7-8.5k depending on the paint and difficulty, (two tone is a bit more sometimes, 9 ft ceilings add wallspace.)
I'm assuming you meant 2500sf of wall space, not floor space
You can go less professional and hire a cheaper guy but keep in mind the following: the paint and supplies cost, really cost. so even if a cheaper worker charges you $500 plus supplies, on a house that size it will add up. Google to find out exactly how much the paint will cost you, but remember then you need drop cloths, brushes, rollers....and spackle if the walls have damages.
A reliable painter or contractor will leave your walls near perfect, repairing all the damage and whatever. As an added bonus, if you are just moving in, they come back and retouch whatever the movers damage on the way in.
Good luck

It's actually 2500sf floor space, a colonial 4-br, lr,dr,kitchen, fam room.
I don't know yet what's the area of the walls to be painted.

it depends on how big each room is and if it includes woodwork & ceilings ...
if the house is empty or if heavy things need to be moved around
if the walls are smooth or need to be plastered
when are you trying to start the job?
