I'm looking at refrigerators with ice and water dispensers. Any benefit to paddle design vs. touch? (are they all bad??) While on the topic, these fridges are generally side by side-- does that somehow mean less space inside (even though the ct. feet are the same, you can get less bang for your space with different models...)? Anyone have experience with these?

Love it!!! The dispenser doesn't take away much space - just one shelf on the door. The ice maker takes up the top shelf in the freezer. Before a Yom tov I clean out all the old junk from the freezer - old bread, box of ices with one ices in it etc, and I have plenty of room for storing 9x13 pans.
