I've been a sheitelmacher for a few years in a city with a growing population
We've now decided to move oot. Its a small community (maybe 4-500?) And they already have 2 sheitelmachers!
I have no degree so I would have to get one
Or could I carry on with wigs??
Advice needed!

Perhaps you could specialize in simcha updos or serving women with medical hair loss (for example, depending on the needs of your new community). You never know, perhaps the current sheitalmachers are overwhelmed and there is room for another.

What can you add to your repertoire of skills? Can you sell things like hair coverings and accessories from home? Can you cut/style actual hair, not just sheitels? Talk to some people where you're moving and see what niches might need to be filled.
