Sounds like amother tried to copy something from an email attachment and not an actual website.

You can find it on Matzav.com. Very nice upbeat conversation. (Except for the fact that he supports trump...)

I thought this was very nice. It's a shame Henry did not have a better command of the English language.

Great response from Henry.

Though the question still remains why the bracha breaks the pattern of most of the other brachos and must say, thank You for not making me a woman, rather than thank You for making me a man, or thank You for giving me so many mitzvos, etc. And why women don't say thank You for not making me a man, since women are more evolved (or corrected Wink and on a higher spiritual plane than men.

But isn't "according to Your will" exactly that, that we fit the Divine ideal?

I wish... on a personal level I fall far short.

I hear your point. I am also sensitive to apologetics, especially when looking at the facts on the ground. I especially wonder if the men know this beautiful pshat, and more importantly if they believe it.

So why don't men thank HaShem for creating them according to His will?

I'm just not buying these apologetics.

So, if being obligated with a larger set of mitzvot means that you are more in need of "correction' (tikun), I suppose this means that servants are more "corrected" than people who are not servants, and that non-Jews are more "corrected" than Jews? So really, of all the people in the world, Jewish men are at the bottom of the heap?

This sort of apologetics seemed ridiculous to me when I was six years old, and they still do.

This response dates back to the Tosefta (contemporaneous with the Gemara) so while it may not be a gratifying answer, it's hardly modern apologetics.
