we are looking to finance a car. I want to look at the company website first before I go to them so I dont waste my time or their time in the car lot. any idea of leasing companies or sales places I can look up on line?

In my experience the companies themselves offer the best financing rate, assuming you're buying from a dealer. We once got 0% financing, and the other time 0.9% for 36 months or 1.9% for 60 months. I don't think you'll find better.

I financed 3 cars thru penfed which may be your best bet if you do not buy direct from a new car dealer who will have special rates for financing.

I was also going to recommend PenFed. They have the lowest rates if not going through a dealer. I think you can open an account for $1 to get financing through them.
But you have to have a great credit score.

When my sis got her first car she financed it thru Penfed and I cosigned. She could've actually just bought the car but by financing it she was building credit, which was a great idea and helped her qualify for a mortgage recently. With Penfed the interest was really minimal.
I plan to do the same for my girls B"EH when they get their first cars.....
