We're buying new mattresses and are choosing between foam and memory foam.
What are the pros and cons of each? Has anyone got experience of both?
My husband has heard/ read that memory foam gets very hot, but I can't imagine that foam would be much cooler.

I have a tempurpedic mattress. I don't find that it gets too hot. I use a waterproof mattress pad on top of the mattress so I think that helps as a heat barrier.

We have memory gel pillow top therapeudic and it's awesomely comfortable. My husband can't stand it though as he's heavy so he gets engulfed into the mattress and he wakes up sweating. And yes, we have high quality no sweat terry topped waterproof mattress protectors on top which we used previously on our old mattresses without sweating incidence.
