Google translate gives me les beaux bouquets, although I would think it should be
les bouquets beaux.
(Maybe someone who speaks French better than I do can help with this question.
edited to add: I asked google translate for blue bouquets and it gave me les bouquets bleus)
But actually that's kind of long-winded. How about "Bouquets" |
Not that I speak French so well, but I think I remember from long-ago high school French that the adjective "beau/belle" is one of those that come before the noun, although most do come after the noun.
How about Fleur de lis?
Petals?
Bouquets of Blossoms?
A Secret Garden
The Blooming Rose

If those names are not being used in the city you're in then what's the difference?
Very often when I google a store name I get multiple results for the same name in different cities.

I like the idea of a one-word name using the name of a flower.
To add to ra-mom's list:
Amaryllis
Clover
Buttercup

Thanks all of you for your input!
Your brainstorming has really helped boost my creativity, and acted as a springboard for the name that was ultimately chosen. It's not actually one of the names mentioned here but your combined efforts helped with it's creation.
Yay amothers, every post was appreciated! I'm so relieved that we're one step ahead.

One little thing - google hard any name you want to use. Keep googling and googling, with various spellings, until you find a name where nothing comes up at all. You don't want a name someone else is using, or even a similar name.
Developing a new name is even hard with uncommon things, but especially with something as widely loved as flowers.
