From the in-law thread it seems like some people started planning their menus already.

I start with the milchig meal as it is more fun.
Bagels lox cream cheese for kids
Cheese blitzes and sour cream
Fried goat cheese salad
Feta salad
Salmon sticks
Platter of assorted fresh fruits-watermelon, strawberries, blueberries
Strawberry cheesecake
Marble cheesecake
Ice cream

Woah, happyhub that's some meal! I love the milichig meal too. Didn't menu plan yet but gonna follow for ideas. Is it too early to start inviting company?

No, not too early. IMO.
We don't do a milchig meal. We do a milchig kiddush followed by a regular fleishig meal (after usually way more than the requisite half-hour)
