A little while ago Mishpacha ran an issue of family first with a bunch of kugel recipes. I misplaced my copy and am looking for the Lukshen kugel recipe that listed applesauce as one of the ingredients. TIA!

1 12 oz bag wide noodles
4 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar
2 cups applesauce
1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping:
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon

Cook noodles. Drain and rinse. Return to pot and mix in remaining ing. Pour in 9 x 13. Sprinkle on topping. Bake 350 for 30-40 minutes until golden.

What type of kugel is this? Similar to a sweet lokshen kugel? Sounds interesting.
