Looking for a place to go for Shabbos - driving distance from NYC. I prefer something quiet and pretty. Also need Minyan. I really dont want an hotel room since I dont want to be locked in for the entire weekend. Something like Ocean Place Resort but a Villa style rather than a room. I dont have a problem taking the food along...
Any Ideas???

Hope your Shabbos is enjoyable and restorative. You might want to put, driving distance of NYC to get more traffic.

Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation is doing a weekend in Stamford Ct this week. I was told today they are taking reservations through tomorrow. I know it's a hotel, but I figured I would suggest it because like this you won't be locked in.

Thanks for the suggestion. Anywhere I can find out more info about it? Do they have a website?
