Myself and DH and have been trying so hard to get ourselves on our feet and save for our future but lots of expenses came up and I have to leave my job for a few very good reasons.
I've heard of askanim that help people out either as a gift or a low or no interest loan. Were not earning enough to get a loan from the bank. We need money to cover bills and get us on our feet. Can anyone give me names of askanim that may be able to help me out?
I'm seriously drowning Crying

The Hebrew free loan society will sometimes loan up to $5,000 interest free. Does it make sense to borrow if you don't have enough to pay it back and if you'll need more money in a few months but they only lend once?

I dont want to identity myself but if we would have that money, we would be able to move to a place with more opportunities. If we could go then we'd definitely be in a place to repay it in 6 months- 1 year.

Loanßneed a way to be paid back. I don't know any askanim who do this but I would be surprised if they did this without verifying information (necessity and a way to get it back) otherwise everyone's going to ask for interest free loans. And I don't know why someone would give a large gift just to pay expenses-a ton of people have trouble making ends meet.

Can you find another job or way to increase your family's earnings?
Have you pared down expenses as much as you can? I got my internet bill lowered just by calling and comparing different companies. I didn't have to even switch- just saying "saw online that XYZ competition is $10 less a month" got them to lower my bill. Every little bit helps.

What is it about moving that will save you financially?

Perhaps you could start buy finding jobs in the area you want to move to. Some companies do pay moving fees.

Do you have a rav who you are close to? A lot of time rabbanim know of such askanim or of somebody looking to help somebody out privately.

Does the school you, or your husband, graduated from, have an alumni fund? There are definitely yeshivos that have such funds set up to help their graduates in times of need.
