Hi y'all,
I'm just wondering how I can make cheesecake in my springform pan and then give it to someone without giving them the bottom metal part of my pan??
Someone told me to just put a cake board round into the pan and bake as normal, would that work? Has anyone ever done this? will the crust get soggy?
Like how do bakeries do it?
I'm planning on making this in advance so im probably gonna also have to freeze it, any tips for freezing would also be great.
Thanks!!!

Cut a sheet of parchment paper to fit at the bottom of the pan. After it bakes, you can carefully lift it onto another platter.

make it in a round disposable pan and cut it away from the cake after you bake it

Use a ready-made pie crust. It even comes with a cover!

either of the above options ... line pan, cut away a disposable pan, or use a ready made crust
it depends whether you're trying to save monies or the environment ... how many are you giving away ?
