I have single, young married and bubby ones.
What do I give?

I wrote this poem last year for my friends daughters pre 1 a teacher, change it up according to your liking.
As the year draws to a close we want to take the opportunity to express
Our appreciation and hakaras hatovFor (insert name here) success
She learned so much during this short year
She developed her skills and thrived under your care
You prepared her for years to come with the basics in education
We want to thank you for your hard work of endless perseverance and dedication
Teaching can be difficult, we are sure there were days you felt you’ve had enough
But you remained steadfast in your devotion no matter how challenging or tough
You devoted your days to the success and growth of our daughter
She was like a flower and you were the water
Without your hard work, she would not be where she is today
And for that we are so thankful in every way
Thank you for being the greatest teacher for Pre-1A
May Hakadosh Baruch continue to give you hatzlacha day after day
Enjoy your summer, you deserve a rest
Thank you once again for everything, wishing you all the best!!!

As a teacher I appreciate receiving gift cards (even a small amount like $10) much more than any actual gift that's usually either something I won't use, don't need, or have already,
You could do a coffee shop, book store, home goods store, Target, etc. Most of those are good for any age.
Are you set on including a poem? The poems I receive are thrown right into the garbage without even really giving them a second glance (sorry, it's true), but the personal notes, even if short, are really appreciated and I usually save them. Just a few lines about how your child loved going to school, you saw how much effort the teacher put in, one specific thing you noticed and liked, the end. You can have your child sign it or draw a picture too.

Okay, if you use a meaningful poem like the one Bizzydizzymom just posted, that might be different, if it sounds genuine and applicable and personal to that teacher.
