Oreo cheesecake truffles

grind up 36 sandwhich cookies [oreo or similar]
add 8 oz whipped cream cheese
freeze 10 min
meanwhile, melt milk chocolate
shape dough into 1 inch balls
cover in milk chocolate
melt white chocolate
drizzle on top of truffles
we like them straight from the freezer--the inside stays chewy, but the original recipe says to put them in the fridge for at least 2 hours
super simple and SOOO good!!

Yes, I meant to shape the dough [mixture of cookies and cream cheese] into balls--they are truffles, so you make balls out of the dough [or you can use a baller if you have one for milchigs] and then coat them in chocolate. It makes about 48 balls

Put them on waxpaper separated. You can put it layered between wax-paper in a Tupperware. The original recipe says to eat out of the fridge, but we like them better from the freezer. When serving, I put one truffle on a skewer or toothpick so the kids don't get all dirty. If you want to get really fancy, you can put strawberries on the skewers as well

I don't have a dairy/parcel food processor? What's a good method to grind the cookies?

To smash the cookies: put the cookies in a ziplock bag and seal well. Take a heavy kitchen object like a frying pan and go at it. Its a great stress reliever.

My processor is fleshing (chopped liver). I'll put it in a bag and crush with a rolling pin
