Still a work in progress but I know that for one meal we are having London broil salad and for another grilled chicken cutlets. I am also making a turkey roast, asparagus, wild rice salad, and some kind of fish. I serve a regular salad at all meals except when the re is a main dish salad like the London broil one.

For the milchig meal(s) there will, along with fish, be greek salad, some kind of savory milchig baked good or kugel, and iced coffee with a scoop of ice cream in it.

Appetizers will be a couple of cold soups, a couple of hot soups, and maybe cut up fruit. (As yom tov progresses we really want less and less food.)

Desserts will be bought cheesecake (I am the person on another thread who doesn't have a stove right now Sad ) and no bake chocolate peanut butter bars, plus watermelon.

I will probably add a few things to this, plus I still need to organize into menus, but this is basically it.

I have been looking. But I like a dense cheesecake and most of the no bake ones look like they are the softer ones. If you have a recipe, though, please pass it on!

BTW R_A, I am making the turkey roast according to your crockpot method for a whole chicken. I found enough somewhat similar recipes to think this will work. We hope....

Thanks, brunette but I like the kind of dense cheesecake that's basically cream cheese, eggs, vanilla sugar. The no bake ones are always a softer fluffier version and often contain ingredients I don't use. I really feel it's ok, under the circumstances for me to buy one.

Poultry breast in the crockpot can dry out easily so cook it until just done. And if you can find a dark meat turkey roast, that would be even better.

This is a mostly frozen chesecake pie. Not cheesecake but uses quality ingredients and really delicous.

And this is a good cheesecake. You need to give it a day or 2 to set.

Thank you R_a. I checked out the no bake mostly frozen one and it sounds great and has no ingredients that I don't use. About how many would you say it serves?. I am taking the suggestion of making individual ones in cupcake papers
