I have minute steak that I need to use up and was wondering whether it's suitable to use as meat for the cholent - or whether it'll get dried out and/or gross?
Any help appreciated, thanks ladies!

I have used it many times. Just make sure its submerged in the other ingredients. I happen to think it does well. Good shabbos!

You can stew any meat if you wish but meat which should be eaten no more than medium done (various steaks) usually cost more and it's a waste to stew them.

you can, but like someone else said, it's a waste of good meat. Minute steaks are meant to be quick cooked (seared, broiled, grilled)

I don't find minute steaks expensive. flanken is way pricier! dh likes minute bec less fatty. I don't think they disintegrate at all...
